  • weekday mornings

  • weekday early evenings

  • Saturday mornings

Curious Kids is seeking a dynamic and versatile instructor to teach a diverse array of engaging classes designed for young learners. The ideal candidate will have the expertise to lead some or all of the following programs:

  1. Mess Makers: (18m-4y w/ caretaker) This class utilizes messy activities to enhance children's motor skills, adaptability, and social skills. Activities include messy hands-on projects that foster creativity and resilience, with the clean-up managed by our staff.

  2. Little Linguists: (9-20m w/ caretaker) An interactive sensory and language exploration class that incorporates music, movement, fingerplays, and songs. This class emphasizes active participation and playful engagement to promote language development and social interaction.

  3. Small Scientists: (2-4y w/ caretaker) A hands-on science class where children explore exciting themes such as space, the human body, and the ocean. Through experiments and interactive activities, children predict, observe, and draw conclusions, all while enjoying the process of scientific discovery.

  4. Art League: (3-5y drop off class) An after-school program that introduces children to famous artists and their works. Each session involves creating art inspired by renowned artists, with a focus on developmentally appropriate, play-based projects that foster fine motor skills, creativity, and self-expression.

  5. Science League: (3-5y drop off class) A captivating program where children dive into scientific exploration with themes like space, the human body, and the ocean. Through interactive experiments and collaborative projects, children apply STEAM principles, enhancing their critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills in a fun, exploratory environment.

Seeking Instructors & Assistants for
Preschool Workshop Drop Off Program

Schedule 2-5 days/wk:

  • weekdays 9am-11am or 9am-1pm

Curious Kids is seeking dedicated and experienced instructors & assistants for our Preschool Workshop Drop-Off programs. This role involves guiding small groups of young learners through a curriculum designed to enhance social-emotional development and provide foundational academic skills in reading and math. Our programs cater to children aged 2 and up, with classes tailored to their developmental stages.

Program Highlights:

  • Two-Hour Drop-Off (Ages 2+): A dynamic introduction to preschool that sparks curiosity and prepares children for further educational experiences.

  • Four-Hour Drop-Off (Ages 3+): An extended session for deeper engagement and enrichment, aimed at enhancing readiness for preschool, kindergarten, and beyond.

Our curriculum emphasizes the Maslow before Bloom principle, ensuring children’s basic needs for safety, belonging, and emotional support are met before academic content is introduced. Through play-based activities in art, music, science, and more, children will develop essential social-emotional skills and academic foundations.
